Thank you for taking a moment of your time to learn more about our church.  We believe a church is not made up of its programs, but of people - individuals of diverse backgrounds with different needs, concerns, aspirations and abilities, sharing the love of Jesus Christ.  We strive to learn more about Him and His plan for each of us as individuals and as a church family.

When you visit New Melle Baptist Church, you will see a common bond of faith and love for Christ shared in a relaxed, comfortable and simple environment.  New Melle Baptist Church is where we “refuel” with the Word of God to meet the challenges of our high-stressed, problem-filled world.

Our focus and foundation is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  By learning more about Jesus and His message, He helps us live with peace, joy and purpose.  Because He is our focus, we aren’t preoccupied with formality or tradition, but with helping each other learn more about God’s plan as revealed in His Word, the Scriptures.
