Upward Sports
New Melle Baptist Church is excited to be participating in our second season of Upward Sports™ basketball and cheerleading.
These programs teach children skills in an encouraging and loving atmosphere. For example, in basketball, children of various skill levels are evenly distributed on teams. This ensures that teams are of equal skill levels, making the games more fun for both sides.

Starting this December, children in grades K-6 can participate in the cheerleading and basketball teams. For more information on Upward Sports™, you can visit their website.
Enter 63341 in the "Find a League" box and you will find our church listed as participating in BASKETBALL (with Cheerleading). Click the drop-down widget and select "New Melle Baptist Church". Click on "View Brochure" to view and print registration form which may be mailed in. You may also pick up brochures at many local businesses or at the Daniel Boone Elementary Office.
Registration/Evaluations are at Daniel Boone Elementary Gym as follows:
Wednesday, December 7th between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Saturday, December 10th, between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Wednesday, December 14th, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Registration typically takes about an hour.
Upward practices begin on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Our first game will be on Saturday, January 14, 2012, and the Awards Celebration will occur on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
